“The idea that you can acknowledge someone’s talent and inspire them to follow their authenticity is worth more than anything on earth.”

Virgil Abloh

No Frame is started from my 14 years’ experience working as a secondary school (11-18 yrs) art and design teacher in the UK. The name, No Frame comes quite literally from the fact that most of the works are not framed in school exhibitions, they are not conventionally presented, yet they contain energy that is beautifully glowing in their work. It also refers to the period of time that these young art students go through in their life, characterised by its emotional, rebellious and energetic nature as they mature physically, mentally, and intellectually, expanding their social awareness, experimenting and testing boundaries - their personal ‘frames’ - to get to know who they are.

The authentic voice of ORIGINAL artwork has the power to touch the core of the human heart. As a teacher, I have learnt that this sensation is omnipresent, whether the work is displayed in a gallery or in a classroom. Regardless of age and reputation, it can inspire and transform. Well, it certainly changed me.
