Come out of the closet

Episode 1.

Theodore Somerville Scott introduces his work in secondary school (A Level Art & Design) with honesty and the genuine intention of exploring the complex emotions involved in revealing one's sexual identity. To gain a deeper insight, Theo interviewed his queer family members and used symbolic images that are carefully chosen to express the delicate topic in his project. "A Level was my starting point of thinking about what kind of artist that I want to be."

Happy Lunar New Year!

This video is made with the idea of introducing and celebrating the Lunar New year to students in the UK, based on an assembly that I presented at my school (British mainstream) some years ago. Student responses have been extremely positive and appreciative as they value the diversity of their experience. It was also reassuring that these opportunities boosted students’ curiosity and deepened their understanding of other cultures.
