How to Learn from an Artist & Develop Conceptual Ideas in Creating Artworks (online)

The course is to develop a student’s subject knowledge through critical and contextual study. Through purposeful research, thought provoking conversations and an analytical approach, this class teaches how to think creatively and develop conceptual ideas. The class offers to look at contemporary curations in galleries in relation to the theme and research appropriate art history and articles to find out intentions and infer symbolic images. Students will to be able to address issues that involve personal, social, cultural and political matters and deepen comprehensive understanding of the subject as well as people in the community and encouraged to develop positive self esteem.

Furthermore, students will be guided to express their learning to visual works, using photography and digital manipulation technique. This creative communication exercise is beneficial for students in many areas such as Language, Science, Humanity, Psychology.
